Measure punch force
PROTOPAD measures the force of every punch in Newtons — and every pad is individually tested and calibrated before it ships.
The difference
A measurement, not a score
Most punch trackers give you a number that means nothing outside their own app. PROTOPAD reads in Newtons — an actual unit of force — and each pad is calibrated against a known load before it leaves us.

On the pad
Four ways to train
Every mode runs on the pad itself. No phone required, no subscription, nothing to pair before you can throw a punch.
Impact Force
The force of every punch, in Newtons, up to 6000N. Connect over Wi-Fi and your best hit goes straight to the global board.
Power Timer
Every punch counts toward a one-minute total. Rewards sustained output instead of one big shot — the closest thing here to a conditioning test.
First to 100
Race to 100 punches and track your fastest time. Pure work rate — and it turns into a head-to-head the second another person walks in.
Hit Counter
Set a custom round timer anywhere up to 60 minutes and count every hit inside it. Built for pad rounds, circuits and interval work.

The Wall Mount
Rigid mounting is what makes the readings trustworthy. A pad that moves absorbs part of the punch; a pad held firm transfers more of each strike into the sensor, so the force you see is closer to the force you threw.
Closed-cell polyethylene foam on a 9mm birch plywood backplate, with reinforced Velcro straps and a laser-cut badge. Four wood screws and washers in the box.

The questions we actually get
Is the number real, or just a made-up score?
It is a real force reading in Newtons. Each pad is tested against a known load and calibrated individually before dispatch, which is what makes scores comparable between two pads in different countries.
Why does it take two weeks?
Every pad is built and calibrated to order rather than pulled off a shelf. You are not waiting on stock; you are waiting on yours being made. We dispatch within two weeks and email tracking the moment it leaves.
Will it fit my wall?
Structural plywood, brick, cinder block and poured concrete are all fine. Timber stud walls flex under repeated impact, and unsupported plasterboard is not suitable at all — the wall face will crack. When in doubt, talk to a builder before drilling — and ask us, we will tell you straight.
Do I need the wall mount?
No — the pad has handles and works held. But a rigidly mounted pad absorbs less of the punch, so readings are more consistent. Most gyms mount it; most home users start handheld and add the mount later.
Do I need an app or a subscription?
No. Every mode runs on the pad. Wi-Fi is only used to upload scores to the global leaderboard, and that is free and optional.
What if it breaks?
Twelve-month warranty on hardware and software faults. We repair and return it at no cost to you, postage included. If you simply do not get on with it, you have 30 days to send it back unused in its original condition — you cover the return postage.
Can I use it without gloves?
We strongly recommend 16oz boxing gloves and hand wraps. The pad will read a bare-knuckle punch, but your hands will not thank you and it is not what the surface is designed for.
